On foot
Fibbers is situated in The Stonebow on the Minster side of the River
Ouse. Follow all city centre signs and locate the enormous Marks
& Spencers corner site which is next to a green-signposted tourist
and shopping street called "The Shambles". The venue is
about 100yds down the street on the left-hand side just by the bus
stops. We occupy, beautifully, the dungeons of a desperately ugly
building which Prince Charles has publicly rubbished. Look for the
Job Centre, Coral's Betting Office and the Halifax Building Society
. Personally, I think we raise the tone of the neighbourhood...
There is parking on either side of the street just after the venue,
or the Castle car park (near Clifford's Tower).
By Rail
The venue is 10-15 minutes walk from the station. For the latest

By Bus
Of the two main city centre bus stops, the Stonebow bus stop is
literally right outside the door, and the Picadilly bus stop is
2 minutes around the corner. Most First York buses, and all Coastliner
buses stop at these two stops. Departs
