Raucous, fast and sometimes a bit country. The lyrics are rude, tender, funny and sometimes just plain bad.
Together in Carter USM, Fruitbat and Jimbob's samples and drum-machine-fuelled twin guitar smiley-attack on all things indie conquered the world. A 10-year pitch-black humour career was built on samplers and drum machines adding breakneck momentum to the duo's punked-out guitar attack. A Number One album and many hit singles (Sheriff Fatman, Lean On Me, I Won't Fall Over, Lenny And Terrence, Glam Rock Cops, Let's Get Tattoos, Senile Delinquent) helped invent a whole indie smiley sub-genre and Abdoujaparov's joyous and shambolic 1977 punk influences have dovetailed nicely with this since their formation in October '98.
