York-based THIS RESISTANCE heroically standing in at the last minute!

This is a band of not only creative, astounding music but standing for what they perceive to be life-changing truth. The name “This Resistance” reflects the belief that we may have to go against the world if we want to find truth for ourselves.

The band’s lyrics will often include a spiritual element, influenced by their faith as Christians, and a challenge to confront our perceptions about life.

Quick to write songs, and since 2011 ‘This Resistance’ have gained momentum through gigs across the UK. In January 2014, their first 3 track EP ‘Start this over’ which was released in March 2014 followed by first international gigs doing the EXIT tour of Poland.

You’ll already be familiar with the fabulous AMAZONS last here in December with top tunes Ultraviolet and Junk Food Forever, Late Nights Together. Not the healthy option but when you’re young and you’re about to lead the indie-rock revival charge, well you can be forgiven anything.
