Some of the very best in emerging talent around North Yorkshire….

We’ll have the mighty AVALANCHE PARTY who make catchy, frenzied post-punk for fans of Joy Division…on acid. Or something. It’s really, really good though. Their energy is so insane, and they’ve got to be one of the most captivating live acts to come out of Yorkshire in the last few years.

Headlining this fine showcase of wonderful Yorkshire talent for us, will be HELLO OPERATOR – what a cool bunch of dudes! This BBC Introducing-endorsed four piece have been making waves in the area for a long time now, scoring slots at Reading and Leeds as well as Galtres and gathering national airplay and acclaim through quality, engaging live shows – you’ll find them somewhere between Kings Of Leon and The White Stripes, and we think you’ll agree that’s no bad place to be. Except, in SOUNDSPHERE‘s starry eyes at least, they’re better than both bands. More progressive, more interesting and more vibrant. Good stuff.

Support your scene, and support these bands. Because we bloody well said so – PRESENTED BY SOUNDSPHERE MAGAZINE, NORTHERN RADAR AND MIKE J
