‘Rarely is a punk band as exhilaratingly competent as York’s …And The Hangnails’ – NME Jan 2015.

Look, this is band you really should see.

It’s indie, it’s punk, it’s LOUD-AS-FUCK-GUITAR-POP. And it gets our juices flowing, oh yes it does.

And you may have already caught them at Fibbs with the The Damned, Jim Jones Revue, Deap Vally, Wet Nuns, Undertones, The Fall, Temperance Movement etc

Quite frankly they piss all over most other so-called duos, blowing signed bands into the weeds and bemused headline acts wondering just how the **** they can follow THAT?

BBC Introducing said, “…And The Hangnails packed such a sucker punch on the night I was literally left gaping, open mouthed, and considering there is just two of them the sound scape that just explodes when these guys are on stage is just incredible. Blisteringly brilliant live. Check them out I urge you. They are truly incredible”.

You can check out their third and latest album ‘Rut’ HERE and more spectacularly, the first album; “No Time For Naysayers” (April 2011) was recorded in just four days and recorded it entirely using an H2 Zoom dictaphone. Have a listen HERE!

So there you have it. One bloke hammering the living daylights out of a drum kit and the other wringing the neck of a long suffering guitar. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SHOW!
