‘Bohica’ is a new, thumb regular event set up by members of the York metal band INSPADES. It has a single aim – to provide a platform for local metal bands – from those just starting out, through to top local talent. By creating a regular quality event in the community, bands are able to support each other, access new audiences and build a following.

The scars of past experience are worn proudly on the sleeves of INSPADES. Set amongst a backdrop of uncertain times and the desire to connect with something meaningful, they deliver a brand of challenging, textured modern metal. Inspired by their hometown’s dark history, this powerful trio blend a beautifully absorbing clash of styles to produce a sound so much more than the sum of its parts.

York 5-piece metallers AFTER YOUR BETRAYAL blend a wide variety of influences and styles accompanied by full energy live performance, and are set for full touring duties following the successful release of first tracks and a debut video, more is on the way!

ROYALIST are constantly breaking down restrictive genre walls bringing a diverse set of ideas to the table. Formed late 2012 as hardcore outfit “Castor Troy” and developing in to a more post-hardcore sound by introducing clean vocals. 2014 sees the release of a debut EP, and they’ll show the world just what they’re capable of.

Upcoming and new deathcore/techdeath/electronic behemoth BOHEMIAN GROVE were brought together by a love of all things heavy – prepare for a breakdown induced death!
