A New York City all-girl band playing Zeppelin? With worldwide acclaim for musicianship, passion and, well, pure gender-bending audacity? Yes, we’ll have some of that please.

Founded in 2004 by guitarist Steph Paynes, it wasn’t long before the group’s reputation attracted major press and radio interest and as early as 2005 SPIN magazine called them “the most powerful all-female cover band in rock history”

The Times said, “ … best new band all year, no question.”

In April 2007, after worldwide touring in the US and Europe the band released debut album, Lez Zeppelin, PRODUCED BY EDDIE KRAMER and, as a result, were the first tribute act invited to appear at major rock festivals including Download Festival, Rock-Am-Ring and Voodoo (New Orleans).

However, it was 2008’s appearance at Bonnaroo that sparked a worldwide media storm with major publications believing it was LED Zeppelin … The girls didn’t disappoint, however, and headlined the opening night and rocked 20,000 fans.
