Native New Yorker NELL BRYDEN has the heart of an artist, the mind of a storyteller and the restless soul of a troubadour.
Born of a painter and an opera singer, Nell’s self-belief and tireless work ethic has taken her 300,000 miles to play 1,400 shows over the past decade picking up an army of fans along the way.
Debut 2009 UK release ‘What Does It Take’ featured no less than six Radio 2 playlisted singles ‘Not Like Loving You’ and ‘Goodbye’ – still heard regularly.
Second album ‘Shake The Tree’, released in 2012, was once again heavily played by Radio 2 including a live appearance on Chris Evans, and included singles ‘Buildings And Treetops’ and ‘Shake The Tree’, but it was ‘Sirens’ that caught the ear of Gary Barlow, who on hearing the song immediately invited her to support him on his twenty-five date tour of the UK.
Nell also supported Chris Rea, Jools Holland and Duane Eddy in 2012 and 2013, releasing live bum “Live in London”.
Brand new album is out now and you’ve probably already heard ‘Wayfarer’ …
