To coincide with new album “31 (THIRTY-ONE)” the band are touring in the auttumn – excellent news!

Rising from the grave of bleak post-punkers Theatre of Hate, singer/guitarist Kirk Brandon and bassist Stan Stammers’ brand of goth-rock encompassed romantic, poetic lyrics set to dark, slow chants smothered in atmosphere and dry ice. Oh, and they rocked like bastards as well.

A total powerhouse live, SOD take no prisoners. This is maximum rock ’n’ roll from a real band with real soul.

Current Spear line-up is the longest serving to date with Adrian Portas (New Model Army / Sex Gang Children), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy / The Cult / The Mission) and Mike Kelly (The Mission).
