The band is Man Made. The alias is Nile Marr.

Surname look familiar? It should be, healing it’s the son of guitar legend Johnny Marr, but there’s so much more going on. A talented singer-songwriter now breaking out in his own right.

Manchester-based and touring with Jake Bugg, here’s a band with mastery of their instruments and an astonishing musical pallet with a natural knack for melody.

And rapidly beginning to take off after successive tours with Broken Social Scene, Bright Eyes, Lemonheads and Badly Drawn Boy.

An instantly danceable and likeable band with great tunes (now there’s a thing …) – they won’t be at small venue level for long.
