When you multiply the power of ’s writing by the intensity of his performance, strange things happen. For example, one summer night he was playing a gig in Ireland when a girl was so moved, she proposed …

Witness him live, and you’re part of that rare experience of an audience totally captivated. If a pin drops, you’ll hear it. “I try to go into a zen-like state when I’m performing’, Tom says, ‘Because it’s important for me to realise that everybody has the potential to be affected by music. And as an artist, that’s my aim”.

Suffolk-born Baxter’s unique songs showcase masterful guitar style and a raw, confessionary depth of lyrics and voice. The writing craft has been his life and his parents, Jeff and Julie Gleave, were long-serving musicians on the ‘60s folk circuit.

2004 debut, ‘Feather and Stone’ built by word of mouth and irresistible live shows, followed by ‘Skybound’ in 2008, a collection of ten extraordinarily powerful compositions, including ‘Better’ which appeared on the ‘Run, Fat Boy, Run’ soundtrack and ‘Almost There’ covered by Dame Shirley Bassey.

Tom’s new album ‘The Uncarved Block’ will be on sale EXCLUSIVELY at his live shows.
